Daddy's Girl Band is simply amazing! They played at our wedding ceremony on Oct 5th, 2013. We couldn't have been happier with their performance. Their sound filled the space of The World's Fair Pavilion in Forest Park so beautifully. The songs they played were truly magical to listen to and I can not tell you how many compliments we've gotten on the music. They were supportive and prepared from day one of planning and were very professional. Our wedding day wouldn't have been the same without them. Thank You Daddy's Girl Band for making our day so special!!!!!!!!
We recently received a snarky post on this web site guestbook from "Confused" saying that they did not understand a father-daughter group singing ballads and love songs, and that the implications were a little weird. We had to laugh, because clearly they don't know us or what we are about.
Allow us to clarify. There are way too many great songs and ballads in this world about love to not sing them... actually, the majority of popular songs in our society just so happened to be centered around love. We choose not to let the fact that we are a father/daughter duo limit what we sing. Maybe because we assume that folks with half a brain will understand it is about entertaining and performing and sharing a passion for music. Maybe we are naive to think that our audience won't jump to weird, creepy conclusions and make rude, uneducated remarks. And yeah, maybe on the surface it seems a little funny or different. But to us and our "fans", it's FUN and we are doing what we LOVE. Get over it.
Oh and PS, "Confused", just to clear up your "confusion", we are completely platonic.
